I've spent 19 years building for the web end to end: Angular and React on the front, Node and Laravel behind the API. I also design in Figma - design systems, websites and web apps - with Photoshop and Illustrator in the toolbox. I care about the parts users feel but rarely see: semantic markup, honest contrast, fast loads. Making the web less boring is the point; making it accessible is the baseline.


I build observable-first: get the smallest end-to-end flow working, verify it, then grow it one step at a time. I keep architecture as simple as the problem allows - small composable pieces, clear boundaries, and abstractions only when they earn their keep. I choose root-cause fixes over workarounds, durable and predictable systems over convenient ones, and a smaller polished experience over a broad surface full of rough edges.


Lately I'm deep in agentic workflows: AIDLC, skills and subagents, automating Product -> Developer -> QA while cutting token usage. I lead teams too - mentoring developers, unblocking, and shipping together. I also build in the open, maintaining packages like roolith-css and roolith-framework.
